Ahh, so the autumn has finally reached the place I am in. It's all foggy, rainy, and looks pretty unpleasing even from out of the window. I love that. It means my productivity will increase.
Summers are not particularry good for any kind of work, in my opinion. The weather outside and the whole set of summer activities distract you a lot from being an ordinary, focused computer geek typing away on the keyboard in his personal cave. On the other hand, autumns and winters are perfect companions for such a behavior.
So this means I will spend the whole day inside today, and probably will get around to implementing Labels X preference pane (I love Cocoa when it comes to interface stuff - so easy and nice!). This makes us a step closer to the Labels X 1.0 release. The whole thing works pretty smooth now, except for a couple of visual bugs in list mode of Finder, but I am pretty sure we'll get that ironed out soon.
I'll also have to tinker with the referrer script today, as its not working. ;) Lotsa stuff to do!

Labels?! Like actual, real, honest-to-god finder lablels? Damn, you guys are amazing. I am waiting with baited breath. I have been using the freakin' comment fields for file ordering, which is a pain in the ass. I can't wait to see how you've implemented it.

If you were here (in New England) you would perhaps have lots of incentive to complete Labels X. Not only are we entering the cooler Autumn season but the soon-to-be-changing colors of the leaves would encourage any programmer to want to colorize their icons.
With the colder weather at our doorstep (please, pretend it's Winter), why don't you make yourself a nice hot cup of "cocoa" and get those creative fingers of yours painting a beautiful palette of color for our long awaited icons.
Thanks for all the effort. I'm all ready to order. Just give me the word!!!!!
