Not All Irony is Dead.
I decided to walk to Taco Bell today since I live about 1/2 a mile from one and got hungry. It's seeking a horrible vengeance as I write this. Anyways, on my way there I was listening to Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous by Good Charlotte. While I'm listening to it, a limo pulls up beside me and stops at the red light. I couldn't help but laugh because of the sheer irony of the situation. This is even more ironic if you know the words to the song (the OJ Simpson part was playing). I was trying to laugh towards the direction of the person riding in the limo but I didn't know if anyone was in it. This has been a completely pointless post. Good Charlotte is a good band. And that's all I'll say about that. Posted by: Stevos on February 11, 2003 6:10 PMThat is absolutely one of my favorite songs of all time, and this proves the point of why: it truly fits the current state of our society - we are the same class(ed) society as that found in 'more primitive' times (Medieval) Posted by: Brian on February 11, 2003 10:01 PMKeep comments on topic.
