Life
Ever noticed how life is -- sometimes it feels so darn fast, you can feel it whizzing by. Sometimes it feels too slow, you see the seconds crawling away s...l...o...w...l...y... Weirdly enough, for me, now is neither. Life goes at its usual tempo, and I got sucked into a bunch of needed, but sort-of boring work activities -- making updates to 4 haxies at once and planning on fifth. This eats a lot of time, hence the absence of blog posts (although I should slack off less on that!) and status updates. The most important thing - the work goes on. The life does too. Related:

A new haxie, can't wait. What if anything can be done about Mac X's open/save dialog boxes? I loved the ones that used Navigation Services under System 9. One nice big single window that was very easy to use. Using the keyboard and the mouse I could quickly go anyplace, not to mention that I could sort by date and see the whole file name. Posted by: sherlockbones on October 29, 2002 10:25 AMYES! I agree with Terri. It would be awesome with a haxie that implemented the Change file view buttons in the open/save dialog boxes. Makes no sense why one should not be able to use a preferred view like one is able to do in the regular Finder windows in OS X. Posted by: grotesque on October 29, 2002 2:22 PMNow that would be awesome being able to set the open/save dialogs just like the Finder windows and it should keep everyone happy. Add in Default Folder and they would be much better then the ones in 9. Keep comments on topic. If a comment is unrelated to this post, it may be removed or moderated. |
