Universal Labels X Labels X

Labels X 1.8 is out, and it's Intel compatible! Ho Ho Ho, and all that jazz. I highly recommend grabbing this even if you're on a PowerPC Mac as it greatly improves memory usage, and everything.

Mandatory version history:

  • This upgrade is free for all registered users.
  • Labels X is now a Universal haxie, meaning it will work on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs (Mac OS X 10.3.9 and newer only).
  • Greatly improved per-process memory usage.
  • Includes Application Enhancer 2.0.2.
  • Includes Smart Crash Reports 1.2.1 (optional install).

On an Intel 24" iMac/10.4.8

When in Finder, Safari, Real Player, iCal, SuperDuper (and I suppose other applications as well), and I access Recent Items, the indentured items are all grayed out.

Upon doing a Safe Boot or when creating a new User Account, Recent Items again works in Finder, so I suspected a third party conflict.

After a bit of testing I was able to confirm that LabelsX 1.8 causes this condition, e.g., if I disable LabelsX, Recent Items again works as designed.

Are others also experiencing this condition? Is there a remedy?

Many thanks and New Years cheers!

I experienced this problem too, I recently installed the trial version of Labels because I would love the functionality but I need my recent items to work.

I experienced the same problem, too.
When After I saw the information of the file, the icon used to gray out.
Another way to recover icon is, show information from the Finder(command + I), click the icon and delete it.

Is this problem going to be fixed, when?

Me too. Is this ever going to be fixed? When?

It's not doing a thing for me. I don't even see any Label options other than the one's OS X has.
