Quick Status Update

Just a quick (Extended Twitter style) status update on the current state of haxies.

Labels X

Labels X beta has been seeded to the testers who has volunteered on Twitter.

Tomorrow, WindowShade X will be seeded, followed by FruitMenu and Xounds (both next week if everything goes as expected).

Then we'll work on finalizing these haxies, release them publically and will switch to other titles requiring attention.

Thank you, this is it for now. :)

well thank you. thats a great news, however I do feel sort of puzzled. so bad you could not write something like this year ago....you really had so much fans out there, and I think you've lost plenty. not enough beta tester speaks for itself.

anyway, good luck with convincing people and getting your trust back again.

Are you going to post a link to the beta versions here, or is it just for all the "young kids, with their Twitter accounts" ?

I don't really care about what has gone down in the past. That chapter's closed. Let's all move on here and support this process rather than railing about what was. Sheesh. It's not like you had to drop mega-bucks for the software.

If I get Fruit Menu back soon I'll be one happy camper.

Thanks for the creative efforts Unsanity. Much appreciated.

Any word about the status of FontCard?

Posted by: Barbarossa on February 12, 2010 8:07 AM

Been holding off upgrading to snow leopard because I depend on windowshade and fruit menu A LOT. Now that those seemingly will be available in the near future, I have one word: THANKS! As an old fart who disabled his Twitter account (too busy playing Mafia Wars on Facebook), I also wonder how to be eligible for beta of any versions of the software.

Any word on Menu master or Shape shaper? That was your top product!

Posted by: paul S on February 12, 2010 12:18 PM

I'm available to test any product.

I'd Love to Test the new Windowshade !!!

Posted by: Eyal G on February 12, 2010 1:49 PM

Thank you, thank you - finally I'll be able to install Snow Leopard! Windowshade: drives me mad if I don't have it. Fruitmenu: does much more than the dock. And LABELS! At last! OSX labels are ghastly. My Mac experience will be complete ... just like the old System 9 days! (not showing my age or anything).

really, only twitter users can test? i´m not on twitter, but really... give me fruits and shades!!!

Posted by: Olaf on February 13, 2010 2:30 AM

Oh Windowshade, how you soon shall live on my computer once more, rather than just in my heart...

Really looking forward to getting WS back, I've *really really* missed it since the Snow came...

VERY glad to know that Xounds is still in the works.

I would love to help you in testing windowshade and labels X

How about Menu Extra Enabler? Will you be updating this for 10.6.x?

Posted by: Kurt Becker on February 13, 2010 2:44 PM

Yes yes yes please!!! I miss my window shade!!!!

Why is Darned "Twitter" so stupidly Important?
I want to Beta Test!

Really.

ONLY posting the Betas on Twitter seems rather counter productive. You would think the idea would be to drive traffic to the Unsanity Website and NOT away from it.

I am thrilled to at least have seen a more frequent news update regarding the Unsanity App releases. This is great and should be continued in the future.

Please include those of us that aren't "hip" enough to bother w/ Twitter access to the Betas.

Many of us helped w/ the Betas last time around and you are missing out on a key demographic.

I have to admit that as much as I don't like to be a complainer, the idea of being able to beta test only if I Tweet you seems pretty lame. I don't WANT to sign up for a Twitter account just to be able to get beta versions. I LIKED it when you sent me an email with a download link for beta versions. Claiming that your previous beta list was just too old just sounds like an excuse to change the way you operate. Twitter. Puhleeze.

Please, how can I beta test Windowshade and Labels X for Snow Leopard? I've tried emailing Unsanity at two different email addresses on the website and neither email went through. Are there links where I can download?

Thanks,

-Thomas

Can't wait for windowshade, lost without it. Beta is better than nothing at all. These beta's are rarely bugged anyway.

Posted by: Larry Smith on February 16, 2010 1:53 PM

I'm sorely missing Windowshade in Snow Leopard. Please, please, please...

Posted by: on February 19, 2010 6:57 PM

I applied to follow you on twitter and haven't been approved. How about a link for the fruit menu beta. I've done without it for way too long. As a paid user, I'm not happy.

Posted by: Ralph Segal on March 7, 2010 3:50 PM

It sounds like you are getting close for windowshade on Snow Leopard. I don't understand why it has taken so long. Far as I know most of my other programs upgraded a long time ago and this one is crucial as far as I am concerned. I'm so tired of running out of space or going to the dock to get my windows. I like them all in front of me when I am working on them. If you need more beta testers let me know. The sooner I can get windowshade up and working the better. I too am lost without it as others have commented. Where are you on twitter? I still don't get how to use twitter effectively. . How about going on FaceBook? Easier to follow there. Thx.

I applied at the twitter and achieve the target. Hold something whether that is beta.

Posted by: linux+ on April 29, 2010 4:07 AM

What happened to fruitmenu? Can we have another update please. I am lost without it. I don't use twitter and I don't intend to but that does not mean I am not a loyal customer.

DONT BUY WindowsShade! IT DOES NOT WORK AND THIS FUCKING COMPANY HAS STOLEN MY MONEY FOR A PRODUCT THET DOES NOT WORK. they will not issue a refund and the support SUCKS.

Posted by: brian on May 7, 2010 7:34 AM

i've tied to get support for weeks no responds. this company SUCKS. DO NOT BUY. they will steel your money and give your software in Beta. it does not work.

Posted by: brian on May 7, 2010 7:41 AM

I have emailed you now 5 times about my order (May 5, 11, 13, 22, and today), and no one has responded. Is anyone checking the email sent to the addresses you provide on the contact list?
I have two difficulties:
1. I paid for but cannot register my copy of Windowshade--see email for details.
2. Second, when I received an error that my credit card could not be charged, I attempted to pay for and register the program a second and third time, again getting the same error message, but the credit card was charged each time. So I have been double billed without a registration number.

This is pretty frustrating. I hope that someone can respond to my previous emails sent from my account rapidly.
