More updates?

So, Application Enhancer 1.2, Metallifizer 1.1 and ClearDock 1.2.2 are all out, and we're all busy again with finishing up the Labels X 1.1 update - it's been semi-ready for over a month now, yet I just got time to get back to it. Version 1.1 will fix most of the issues our users were having with the miscolored icons, and will also show labels in the Finder's Apple menu and the Dock. Mac OS X 10.1 compatibility is still in the works (read: I haven't touched it yet), but this is my top priority once I finish axing the remaining entries in our bugs/tasks database. I'll keep doing these boring development diary blog entries so you know what happens over here.

On the other hand, the Silk updates Rosyna has been hinting about look promising. Still plenty of work there, too!

Where are the instructions for applying the Metal them thoruhgouut your entire system? I read the readme but do not see any mention of this.

Also when I looked at enhanced applications, it says that the finder is being enhanced although it obviously is not. Is it a bug with another ape program? I have Fruit Menu, Window Shade X, Clear Dock, Skin a Dock, Dock Detox, Menu Extra and Cee Pee You all enabled. All using the latest versions. 10.2.2 G4 733 1.5GB RAM

Metallifizer can't make the whole system metal because you need a theme for that. It also can't metalify the Finder because the Finder is Carbon. (It can only make Cocoa apps metal.)

Get it??? ;-/

I think Alexis meant (De-)Metallifizing the whole system the way metallifizer 1.0 did.
You couldn't set anything on a "per-application" basis, but you could tell all cocoa apps to show the brushes metal appearance or to not do so.

I as well am missing this feature in the new Release, as I think consistency more elegant than some "per-application" stuff.

And I don't want to have to run through all Application subfolders after installing something just to have the system's look consostent

Yeah, all the Haxies should have a "Global" option as well as individual apps.

Glad to hear that Labels X 1.1 is in production...

Labeled files and folders are randomly changing colors all over my desktop after updating to OS X 10.2.2. Even Labeled folders in Finder windows are changing colors inappropriately.

I can't wait 'til that update is released... Labels in the Apple menu and Dock sound great! : D
