Here is the beta for Menu Master 1.3 with Tiger support. Love it long time.
On a side note, I'm kind of sad that Adobe doesn't offer NFR's of their Suite to lowly people like me.
Version 1.3b2 (May 4nd, 2005)
- Fixed a problem when setting keys for dynamic menu items (like most items in the Finder). This change now ungroups dynamic menu items when you set new keys for them. This change means you need to change any newly visible items to have keys similar to what you just set.
Version 1.3b1 (May 3rd, 2005)
- This is a free update for registered users.
- Addressed a crash with URL Manager Pro.
- No longer confuses set hotkeys in FruitMenu or FontCard menus.
- Fixed a problem that would cause some pull down menu keys to be off by one.
- No longer sets the same hotkeys for all popup menus in an application.
- New Registration System. Registered users are able to click the Update Now button to quickly and easily update their registration. The new serial number works across users so if you have permissions to write to /Library, all users will get the new SN automatically.
- Tiger Compatible. Mother Approved.
- Spifftacular New Installer.
- Updated to APE 1.5

nice!! 10 down now
b.t.w. is there an order of update for the remaining non-tiger apps that you guys can post, so I can stop compulsivley (sp?) checking this page like an idiot?
thanks again for cranking the fixes out!
Posted by: Andrew Burgess on May 4, 2005 4:43 PMLabels X, then Silk is the currently planned order for the last two remaining. Menu Master was higher since it didn't work on Tiger *at all*.
Posted by: Rosyna on May 4, 2005 4:45 PMright on!! thanks.
I'm thinking silk will take a while it doesn't seem to have any effect right now on the system menus (menu bar and fly-outs)
Posted by: Andrew Burgess on May 4, 2005 5:08 PMSame problem here, doesn't remember Finder menu shortcuts, and when I make Empty Trash Command -T is adds a second Empty Trash Menu.
Posted by: Jay Remington on May 4, 2005 9:12 PMSame problem there? What problem? Make sure you log out and back into OS X after installing this MeMa
Posted by: Rosyna on May 4, 2005 9:14 PMI'm embarrassed to say that I didn't read the read me. When I did it mentioned that if you have FruitMenu installed you need to assign hot keys for the Apple menu with it. Now when I try to assign Command-R for Restart or Command-S for Shutdown it tells me that combination interferes with another program, but gives me no way to cancel, I have to force quit System Preferences to get out of the loop. The problem with Command-T for Empty Trash remains, it shows Command-T for Empty Trash and right below it it says Empty Trash with the original keyboard shortcut. I not only logged out and deleted all my old shortcuts, but restarted as well.
Posted by: Jay Remington on May 4, 2005 9:24 PMI see the problem with the Command R/Command S thing and I'll fix it shortly.
However, for the Command T thing:
"This change means you need to change any newly visible items to have keys similar to what you just set."
The new item is not getting the same keys. The new item is Command Option Shift Delete. As Opposed to the Command Shift Delete item you just changed. They are two separate menu items.
Thank you for updating Menu Master !
My life just got allot easier ..
For those guys out there that love this program as much as I do I would suggest making a donation to help further progress the programs which they create "which are awesome".

That's gibberish to me. I guess I don't understand this new functionality. Empty Trash shows up twice in the Finder menu. That's my problem, I only need it there once, and from the MM pref pane, it doesn't even see Empty Trash as having been modified.
