Nifty - another Application Enhancer module has popped up, and this one allows you to use your old(er) USB cam with iChat AV. Pretty handy, if you ask me.
I don't have an USB cam to test it with, but somebody on IRC reported it working for him. So if you do, you may want to give it a try:

Oh, the name is iChatUSBCam by Ecamm Network.

Hello,
I'm developer, then I'm using Panther Developer Preview.. Well, but what's my problem ? Only that APE doesn't work on Panther :( Then I couldn't test this haxie... Does exists a Panther build of APE ? Thanks
Hello,
APE 1.3 has a bug that triangular mark of Finder on the dock can't be displayed in spite of running.
I have been waiting for being fixed the bug and now I am very much looking forward to the next release.
I have this as well. I heard that it came up after the QuickTime 6.3 update. As a stupid workaround, kill the Finder and it will come back and show itself as running.
....wouldn't it be great to be able to use isight as camera to make clips or even "movies" that can be recorded in imovie?(Or where ever)
I tried to use snapz pro x to capture the my isight screen, but doesn't work.
Sounds like a plan for a haxie??!!??
Best regards,
Naumann
Naumann: You can use iSight in that way - Quicktime broadcaster (a free download from Apple) will do it - at which point you can import the resulting clip into iMovie.
