We've released FruitMenu 3 with tabbed browsing...of the err, um, preference pane.
So much talk of tabs these days, it didn't seem right to make a post without those words in it.
Get it.
The update includes the ability to definte different configurations for menus for different applications, a click and hold option in Finder to invoke contextual menu for one button mouse users, and several fixes. FruitMenu sells for US$10. Version 3.0 is a free upgrade to all registered users.

Please add icons for the SysPrefs menu in the Apple menu. I was surprised to see still no icons there.
Still would like the finder type actions (moving, copying, and such) of Fruity to register with the finder so the 'undo' would be applicable.
thanks for adding a dialog when a moving a file to a destination folder when the file already exists. Would be nice to see a replace dialog though.

Posted by: Neil on February 24, 2003 3:48 PMi have tried to get fruitmenu to work after upgrading to 3.0 but it never does i have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. yet to no avail it will not load. i should have never upgraded! can anyone help??? this is one of the greatest haxies adn it doenst work anymore!!!!

In the mean time, look for "Application Enhancers Disabled" folders in both "Library" folders and delete the .plist files in both "Preferencec" folders.

i have all of your haxies running : windowshade,mighty mouse, fruit, ape. i am all about unsanity they arent paid for they are all just giving me the pay warnings now you know but anyways, i am running mac os x 10.2.4 and fruit was working great in ver3 then one day poof its gone. the prefence pane is still in sys prefs and i can make chgs and alter it but it doesnt show.
