First one in the updates line is Dock Detox, our free haxie that gets rid of bouncing icon application notifications from the Dock. Some people find it annoying (not to mention it eats plenty of CPU for single processor Macs), yet Apple didn't provided a way to turn it off - so here's the haxie that will do it. Nothing more, nothing less. More customizations are planned for next version (like exclude/include list, etc). [ download ]

I miss having the Application menu blink. It wasn't real annoying like the bouncing icons in the Dock, but still let you know that an Application needed your attention.
Of course you need to install something like ASM just to have the old Application menu.
Then you end up with two Applications menus :(
Is there someway to add the functionality of the old Application menu, app switch, hide others, etc., to the new Application menu that is now next to the Apple menu?
I think ASM has or was planning on using Dock Detox APIs for icon blinking in the application menu. Need to check on that. I think it's up to other developers who make the app menu replacements (ASM and what was that other one?) to implement -- receiving a notification from Dock Detox is very easy and well documented in its SDK. =)
