Cursors!

While our official Mighty Mouse cursors repository, ResExcellence, is down, I've whipped up a quick cursors archive hosted here at Unsanity. So if you miss the cursors, feel free to snag some:

Meanwhile, keep an eye on the blog for an Intel-compatible public beta of Mighty Mouse in the coming days. ;)

You may as well keep the cursors on your site and make that the official repository.  Ever since those idiots took over, res has been more or less dead.  Most of the people I know have given up on the site ever becoming worthwhile again.

So cool, I had submitted a set the day after MM was released- sure would like to be using it on my MBP- but no can do! Hope this means that the ub version of MM is coming soon...

I'm looking forward to Mighty Mouse for my MacBook Pro. In fact, it's the only reason I'm subscribed to this RSS feed at the moment since it annoys me that the feed keeps updating every time someone comments. Can you guys separate posts and comments in your feeds?

You so need to have a MM Cursor set Contest, 95% of these cursor sets are hideous at best (most of them ports of windows cursors). Just a few themers have managed so far to make nice cursor sets to match their themes (David Lanham's Somatic set immediately comes to mind).

I bought MM a long time ago but barely use it, because of the lack of nice cursor sets. I tried making them, but I'm not very good at it.

A contest would certainly bring more interest to the product, especially now that a UB version is on it's way...

Thanks!

I don't want to "leech" site without permission just to try something but it looks like all of those cursors can be compressed excellently to Mighty Mouse package/DMG and user can choose to drag them to his/her documents right after installing it.

Or one can speak with Resexcellence owner, pick 10 most downloaded ones and include them with mighty mouse. You can of course put "more cursors" in disk image as internet link too.

The idea is: User should have some stuff to try when he got the program.

Slava have there been any new features added to this release? Will MM now do a global search for all the system cursors and theme them? Example is the 'link hand' in a web browser.. Safari it's themed, Shiira it's themed, Camino it's not, ect ...

Thanks,
Dave

Any word on the beta? It's been about a month since the post by Slava.
