sunset snapshot

Completely off topic, but last night I snapped a few shots of one of the most gorgeous sunsets I've ever seen. This picture doesn't do it justice. Maybe if I'd taken time to read the manual on my new Canon A80 I could have gotten a better shot...ah well, maybe next time.

But this should give you an idea anyway:

Sunset (small)

Now I want to learn some photography skills so next time I can do better!

Very nice.

Best advice I ever got about sunsets: turn around and
shoot the objects that beautiful light is shining on.

My advice:
Read everyting on this page: http://www.photo.net/learn/

Keep up the good work!

Very nice. I got some pretty neat shots, too, in Reykjavik last summer at about 1am - see the last few Reykjavik pics at http://www.snubcommunications.com/iceland/

Rob - thanks for the link!

Craig - very nice shots!

May I use this image? I am working on a website for a nonprofit and would like to include it in the background of their webbanner.
